Ilkley BID partners with PlaceDashboard to understand visitor behaviour

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND (Jun. 1, 2020) – The Ilkley Business Improvement District has selected PlaceDashboard as the town’s provider of footfall and visitor behaviour measurement using PlaceDashboard’s online portal TownCentre.AI powered by mobile GPS data ( no hardware installation required). This approach will allow Ilkley BID to measure footfall across all streets in the town centre, visits to stores and leisure businesses.
PlaceDashboard will utilise its mobile data capabilities to measure footfall, where visitors come from, where they go and track what they do. Ilkley BID will have full access to TownCentre.AI, PlaceDashboard’s proprietary web-based town centre insight platform, giving BID managers access to data and insight which will inform strategy decisions and help levy payers to understand their customers more.
“Ilkley is a pretty, traditional spa town offering some of Yorkshire’s finest tearooms, magnificant countryside and a rock climbers’ paradise” said Clive Hall, CEO for PlaceDashboard.”Leveraging PlaceDashboard’s TownCentre.AI platform will help the BID to grow the town’s resident and tourism footfall and provide the data and insight to help formulate targetted town centre marketing campaigns”
